Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin): Helps to form healthy skin, hair and nails. Supports eye health. Component of systems concerned with the conversion of fats, sugars and protein into energy. Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide): The non-flushing form of Niacin. Niacin helps maintain healthy body tissue (skin, nerves, brain, etc.). Essential for energy metabolism and the production of sex hormones. Vitamin B5 (d-Calcium Pantothenate): Pantothenic Acid source derived from B-alanine, an amino acid. Pantothenic Acid is important for energy production, immune health and the nervous system. Helps to maintain the health of skin and hair. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine HCL): Aids in maintaining fluid balance and electrical function of the neurons and digestive systems. May also help with depression and allergies. Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin): Needed for normal nerve cell activity, DNA replication and the production of the mood-affecting substance called SAMe. Biotin (d-Biotin): From microbiological fermentation. Plays an important role in metabolizing energy from food. Folic Acid: From Glutamic Acid, an amino acid. A B Vitamin needed for DNA synthesis. DNA instructs cells of the fetus to replicate normally when a woman is pregnant. PABA (Para-Amino Benzoic Acid): Sometimes suggested as a treatment for various diseases of the skin and connective tissue, as well as for male infertility.
Vitamin C- The main water soluble antioxidant; reduces the duration and severity of colds. (Ascorbic Acid): 100% pure Vitamin C. Derived from glucose that occurs naturally in a free state in fruits and vegetables. (Found in Original and Rice Base Formulas) (Calcium Ascorbate): Calcium source. 80% Vitamin C source (less acidic). (Found in Green Phyto, Active Seniors and Fruit Antioxidant Formulas)
MINERALS (Dietary requirement of 100mg or more) All minerals in ALL ONE are proteinated. The minerals are plant, vegetable or earth sources combined with protein. Chelated minerals are attached to a protein molecule that transports them to the bloodstream enhancing their absorption. All the amino acids in the ALL ONE formulas are naturally occurring derived only from whole proteins.
Calcium- This calcium is a blend of these forms allowing for the highest concentration of elemental calcium that is readily absorbed by the body. The calcium in ALL ONE is naturally buffered due to its blending with protein. Studies show calcium builds bones and teeth, transmits nerve messages, regulates heartbeat and coagulates blood. •Calcium Caseinate: High calcium source. Milk protein (refer to Amino Acid Sources). •Calcium Carbonate: Highest concentrate of calcium. •Calcium Citrate: Lowest concentrate of calcium from citrus source. •Calcium Ascorbate: Low concentrate of calcium. Primarily a Vitamin C source. (Found in Green Phyto, Fruit Antioxidant and Active Seniors Formulas) •Dicalcium Phosphate: Two parts Calcium, one part Phosphorus.
Magnesium(Magnesium Carbonate): Essential macro mineral required for strong healthy bones and improving the absorption and retention of calcium. Needed for healthy cell function and energy metabolism, playing a key role in normal heart function and nerve transmission.
Potassium: Potassium is an electrolyte, which appears to be helpful for hypertension (high blood pressure). Through enzyme activation it is mainly concerned with energy production. It also helps to maintain water and acid/alkaline balance within the cells.
Phosphorus(Dicalcium Phosphate): Calcium source. Phosphorus source. It is essential for the process of bone mineralization and makes up the structure of bone.
TRACE MINERALS(Dietary requirement of less than 100mg. See description of minerals.)
Iron(Ferrous Sulfate): As part of the hemoglobin (the oxygen-carrying protein found in red blood cells), Iron plays an integral role in nourishing every cell in the body with oxygen. Essential for energy.
Zinc (Zinc Oxide): Zinc is a component of over 200 enzyme systems. It is essential for growth, healing, immune function, teeth and bones.
Manganese(Manganese Carbonate): Plays a particularly important role as part of the natural antioxidant enzyme Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) which helps fight damaging free radicals. It also helps energy metabolism, thyroid function, blood sugar control and normal skeletal growth.
Copper (Copper Amino Acid Chelate): Is needed to absorb and utilize iron.
Chromium(Chromium Amino Acid Chelate): Helps the body maintain normal blood sugar levels.
Molybdenum (Molybdenum Amino Acid Chelate): Needed for proper function of certain enzyme-dependent processes, including the metabolism of iron.
Selenium (Selenium Proteinate): Activates a potent antioxidant enzyme called glutathione peroxidase and may help protect the body from cancer.
Iodine(Potassium Iodide): A natural salt, from kelp. Is needed to make thyroid hormones, which are necessary for maintaining normal metabolism in all cells of the body.
